Scott A. Hatfield is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Cox Communications, Inc. He is responsible for managing Cox’s information technology initiatives and resources.

Mr. Hatfield joined Cox following two years as Vice President of Information Management for Ohmeda Inc., a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, where he was responsible for the design and deployment of a new core business system across the company’s four international divisions. Previously, he served six years with Xerox Corporation in a variety of advanced internal applications development roles. Mr. Hatfield also served four years with General Dynamics and Ford Motor Company, where he created strategies and procedures for expert system development.

A magna cum laude graduate of Western Michigan University with a B.S. in computer science, Mr. Hatfield also holds a M.S. in computer information and science from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI.
